At Springboard and Designlab, I have the opportunity to mentor beginner and intermediate students learning UX design. In the past 2+ years, I've graduated over 30 students.
Springboard offers a single, comprehensive curriculum where students learn at their own pace and meet with their mentors once a week to check in, learn more about the content, or even ask for career advice. On average, students complete the course in 2-4 months.
Designlab offers a variety of 4-week courses including two that I typically mentor — UX Research & Strategy and Interaction Design.
SPRINGBOARD CO-INTERVIEW 
In addition to working together at Whirlpool, my wife, Megan, also mentors students on Springboard. Springboard reached out to us about doing an interview for their newsletter. Read the article.
SPRINGBOARD UX CAREER CURRICULUM 
In addition to the standard UX course, Springboard launched a UX career track curriculum that I had the opportunity to contribute material towards. One of my particular interests is in prototyping and wrote about sketching, wireframing, and prototyping as a whole. While Springboard made some tweaks on voice and headings/groupings to match their style, the content is my own. Read more.
Springboard Career Hour 
Each week, Springboard has open office hours for any student that wants to join. Occasionally, the office hours will be a career hour where a mentor will be interviewed by some of the Springboard staff and students. I was asked to participate in one and had a very positive experience for my first time doing something like this.
